Students of Kith and Kin International College (KKIC) turned their classroom into a vibrant culinary studio as they participated in an engaging and hands-on Food and Nutrition practical focused on preparing delicious foreign dishes.

The practical session was a delightful blend of creativity, teamwork, and skill, as the students demonstrated impressive mastery of international cuisine. With confidence and enthusiasm, they prepared a variety of mouth-watering dishes that reflected both technical precision and artistic presentation.

Among the delectable meals prepared were:

✨ Curry sauce served with beautifully garnished rice, paired with a rich and creamy parfait for dessert.
✨ Crispy fried chicken accompanied by flavourful stir rice, finished with a refreshing fruit salad.
✨ Succulent chicken and shrimps served with well-seasoned pasta, complemented by a vibrant fruit salad.

Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, attractively presented, and bursting with flavour—showcasing not only the students’ culinary skills but also their understanding of nutrition, balance, and international food culture.

The subject teacher, Mrs. Ishola, expressed her pride in the students’ performance. She commended their creativity, coordination and impressive cooking techniques. She praised their dedication and highlighted how practical sessions like this help build confidence, independence and lifelong skills.

The practical was not just about cooking—it was about learning through experience, fostering teamwork, and nurturing future chefs and nutrition experts.
