KITH & KIN BRITISH ACADEMY STUDENTS EXCURSION TO OSHODI ART GALLERY

The excursion to Oshodi Art Gallery, Kasolori, Ikorodu, was both educational and exciting for the students. The main purpose of the field trip was to help the students make informed career choices and to allow them to appreciate how classroom learning can be applied in real-life situations.

During the visit, the students were exposed to various aspects of art, including, painting, Sculpture, Clothing and textile design, Ceramics, Crafts and cultural artifacts.

They observed different artworks and learned about the processes involved in creating them. The gallery staff explained how artists use creativity, skills, and techniques to produce meaningful works that communicate ideas, tell stories, and preserve culture.

In conclusion, the excursion to Oshodi Art Gallery was a memorable and inspiring experience. It encouraged the students to explore their talents, think creatively, and consider art as a possible future career
