CLO Career Talk with Senior Students

The CLO is currently having a career talk with the senior students, during which he is guiding them on the importance of making informed and strategic career choices.

He advised the students to choose subjects and career paths that align with their strengths, interests, and aspirations, and that can position them for excellence in the future. He also emphasized the importance of acquiring practical skills and encouraged the students to develop competencies beyond their academic subject areas.

He highlighted emerging and specialized career opportunities, including Genetic Counselling, Public Health Analysis, Telemedicine, Neuroscience, Environmental Science, Climate Technology Entrepreneurship, Digital Technology, and Artificial Intelligence, among others.

The CLO encouraged the students not to aspire to become merely ordinary scientists but to develop specialized expertise and practical skills that will distinguish them in their chosen fields.

He further introduced career opportunities in the financial sector, such as Financial Analysis, Wealth and Money Management, and Tax Consultancy.

He stated that being in the Arts class does not make students poor, inferior, or irrelevant. He encouraged them to recognise the wide range of career opportunities available to them, including careers as human rights lawyers, aviation lawyers, content creators, scriptwriters, policymakers, international relations officers, and professionals in tourism and cultural studies, among others.

In conclusion, he encouraged the students to choose their careers wisely, acquire relevant skills, specialize in their areas of interest, and continually develop themselves to remain competitive in an evolving world.
