Chief Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya Honored with Meritorious Award at LASU’s 4th GNS Day and Nigeria at 65 Celebration

The Lagos State University Centre for General Nigerian Studies (CGNS) held its 4th GNS Day in grand style as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary. Themed “Ethnic Diversity Crisis in Nigeria: Emotional Intelligence to the Rescue,” the event brought together scholars, policymakers, and distinguished personalities to deliberate on fostering unity in diversity.

A highlight of the occasion was the recognition of Chief Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya, Chief Learning Officer of Kith & Kin Educational Schools, who was presented with a Meritorious Award for his outstanding contributions to education and nation-building.

Chief Olusanya, who also served as the Special Guest of Honour at the event, was commended for his unwavering commitment to educational development and his dedication to nurturing future leaders. His recognition stands as a testament to his lifelong service in advancing knowledge, promoting social harmony, and building educational excellence in Nigeria.

The Vice-Chancellor of LASU, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, congratulated Chief Olusanya and emphasized the importance of celebrating individuals whose work continues to impact both education and society at large.
